最近、現在地情報の取得についてかなり調べています。
W3C Geolocation APIにより、Firefox3.5以上で現在位置情報の取得ができます。
Javascriptで簡単に取得できます。
ちなみに、Google Tool Barを導入していれば、Google Tool Barでもこれが使えるんですよ！

つまり、IE6でもGoogle Tool Barが入っていれば、これを使えるわけです。

ごっちんさんと同じく(?!)自分も｢リアル｣の位置情報と、ネットの関係には興味があります(微笑)。
